Dividend policy is essential in the Indian IT sector for the purpose of influencing stakeholder value, communicating corporate stability, and shaping investor perception. This research examines the dividend policies of one of India's leading IT service providers in order to understand Wipro Technologies' approach to achieving a balance between shareholder returns and development prospects. Profitability, cash flow generation, and long-term investment requirements in technology, digital transformation, and global expansion are the determining factors for payouts. Wipro's dividend strategy is distinguished by its methodical yet prudent approach. The analysis demonstrates how Wipro maintains a balance between distributing dividends to investors on a regular basis and retaining earnings for market competitiveness, R&D expenses, and strategic acquisitions. The results indicate that Wipro's dividend policy is influenced by global demand cycles, industry dynamics, and regulatory frameworks, which serve as both corporate conservatism and growth orientation. This investigation contributes to the body of knowledge regarding the methods by which information technology (IT) companies, including Wipro, regulate dividend distribution to guarantee long-term value growth and maintain investor confidence.
