Abstract

The comparative efficacy of e-recruitment versus traditional recruitment approaches, specifically focusing on Infosys, a renowned worldwide IT firm. Recruitment is essential for acquiring skilled workers, especially in the competitive technology sector. Conventional means, such newspaper advertisements, university initiatives, and third-party agencies, have been utilized by many; nevertheless, these approaches are typically costlier and necessitate a longer processing duration. Infosys has used a growing array of e-recruitment tools, such as AI-driven application tracking systems, professional networking platforms, corporate career portals, and online job boards, in reaction to the swift advancement of digital transformation. This research illustrates how e-recruitment improves the company's reputation, enhances efficiency, grants employers access to a wider candidate pool, and accelerates the recruitment process. It also addresses certain difficulties linked to e-recruitment, like heightened competition and diminished personal interaction. The research demonstrates that Infosys can attain outstanding recruitment results by utilizing a hybrid approach that combines contemporary technological tools with selective traditional methods. The research indicates that e-recruitment offers greater strategic benefits and more efficiently meets the changing demands of the IT industry.
